Mason McNabb – Class of 2028 Junior Golf Recruit
Timor Omnis Abesto is Latin for “Let Fear Be Far From All” and is the family motto of the Scottish Clan MacNab. The game of Golf, like Clan MacNab, was born in Scotland over 500 years ago, and I try to channel this ancient Scottish heritage every time I hit the links, reflecting a spirit of courage and resilience. Over the years, I haven’t let fear of the unknown dissuade me from my goals. I believe being fearless requires focus, drive, dedication, and commitment. I’m not afraid to arrive early, put in the work, stay late, and do what it takes to get better … every single day. True to the family motto, I fearlessly march forward with an unparalleled dedication towards improving my game and myself!
Mason McNabb is a Class of 2028 junior golf recruit from Asheville, North Carolina, competing in regional and national tournaments with the goal of playing Division I college golf. Mason maintains a 4.58 GPA at Nesbitt Discovery Academy, trains every day year-round, and tracks his performance statistics, tournament results, and development as a college golf recruit.

Mason McNabb – D1 Bound Junior Golf Recruit
Mason enjoys being part of a team. He made the varsity golf team in 2026, his sophomore year. Playing at the high school level has been a good fit for him. Mason is dedicated to being an integral part of every tournament. Mason is a balanced student-athlete (Class of 2028) with a 4.58 gpa seeking to play collegiate golf and beyond. As a college golf prospect, Mason knows the importance of high grades and low scores, which is why he practices and studies every day. Time management is a key aspect of Mason’s daily routine. “There’s only a finite amount of time in a day and juggling golf, school, weight training, violin, hobbies, and family time feels like a full-time job.” Mason says. He wakes up early every day to study or hit the gym before school to maximize daylight hours after school for golf. If the weather isn’t right outside, you’ll likely find him on the simulator at home.
